     The National Watercolor Society's Permanent Collection is a carefully juried selection of works that represent the best of watercolor art throughout NWS history. It is made up of NWS Purchase Awards, Past President’s Collection and Board Approved Donations. The collection features a diverse range of styles, techniques, subjects, and artists, showcasing the versatility and artistic potential of watercolor as a medium.

     The growing collection includes paintings by renowned and influential watercolorists from various eras, including both established and emerging artists. These works highlight the evolution of watermedia as an art form and capture the different artistic movements and trends that have shaped the development of the organization.
